New exhibit at Library features Norma Reihm
Each quarter, CHARAC sponsors an art show at the Sherman and Ruth Weiss Community Library. This quarter’s Art Show features Norma Reihm and will run through the end of June.
Norma is a National quilt teacher and award winning quilter, known for her fiber layered art quilts. Her quilts are published in 3 books and many quilting magazines. The quilts are not always conventional or what you would cuddle under. They are colorful and creative using many fiber mediums that are stitched and embellished. Many of her quilts are meant to hang on the wall as an expression of her art. And yes, she also makes normal quilts.
A longarm quilter since 2002, Norma has taught domestic and longarm quilting classes nationwide since 2005.
